Description
El Diablito is one of the characters of the famous Mexican board game called loteria. The traditional
board game has its roots in 15th century Italy, from where it moved to New Spain in 1769. Initially it was
played by the wealthy of the time. The popularity of the board game increased in the 19th and 20th
centuries thanks to traveling fairs. When the game became more popular, elements such as El Diablito
were added.
The jersey is inspired by one of the most iconic cards of the Mexican Lottery, the Diablito that
represents the creator of the lottery games and symbolizes the anger, ambition and rage of the people.
