Description
Tlaloc is one of the best-known, ancient, and most revered divinities in all of Mesoamerica. His cult spread over a large part of Central America. Tláloc is the god of rain and lightning, he represents the water on which fertility and abundant crops depend. Its importance can be understood if we remember the agricultural nature of the Mesoamerican cultures. Tláloc was adapted into the Aztec pantheon and who settled in Lake Texcoco, who turned him into an agricultural divinity.
The design of the jersey is inspired by this god Tláloc, who was one of the fundamental gods of the different indigenous agricultural communities; Originally from the Teotihuacán culture. His cult spread to the Nahua peoples when Teotihuacán fell. It also extended to the Maya with whom the Teotihuacans had contact, although the Maya identified him as the god Chaac.
